Facebook Messenger fans are facing a hugely frustrating day with the chat app currently down and not working. Social network company Facebook and Instagram’s messenger have seen problems around the world. So far, however, neither Facebook nor Instagram has updated on what happened to their messenger.
According to DownDetector, which tracks the server status of online services based on mentions across social media, shows thousands of Facebook Messenger users unable to access their app every minute in the UK. At its peak, some 3,500 Facebook Messenger users were complaining every minute about being unable to login, send texts, or receive calls to the popular messaging app.
People around the world are now complaining about problems with Facebook and Instagram messengers. Problems have started appearing on Facebook and Instagram messengers from around 3.15 pm Nepali time.
According to the complaints made by the people, there is a problem in sending messages on Facebook Messenger. There is also a problem in the direct message of Instagram.
According to DownDetector, people in Europe and Japan complained of problems on their Facebook and Instagram messengers. However, significant complaints are now coming from the Asian region, including Australia, India and Korea.
